Vote “Yes” on the Polk County Public Safety & Judicial System Bond to ensure fairness and impartiality - and keep criminals off the street

The measure will cost the average homeowner $1.50 per month. That’s a small price to pay to ensure fairness and keep our families safe.

Protecting children from sexual predators and keeping criminals off the street
We need to ensure there are modern, secure holding areas to preserve evidence in criminal cases that aid in the prosecution of sexual predators, murderers and robbers.

Overcrowding makes court operations less efficient, which makes it much harder to ensure fairness, impartiality, security and public safety
There are nearly 500,000 visitors to Polk County Court facilities on an annual basis - vastly more than when the building was built over 100 years ago. This measure will provide adequate court facilities to meet current and projected future needs.
